# The chatter job in 2026, as the postings describe it

Where chatter jobs are advertised in 2026, how many postings the boards return, what they say about shifts, training and pay, and what none states.

Two boards give a count. Layboard, a Russian-language job site, returned 149 vacancies for "chatter" in Russia on 2026-09-17. OnlineJobs.ph, the Philippine board, returned 10 results for "chat operator" and 0 for "onlyfans" on the same day; the platform name does not appear in the postings the desk tracks, which describe "18+ content creators" instead. Neither count is a measure of the trade, only of what each board shows on one day.

The postings describe the job in the same terms across both boards. Eight-hour shifts, offered in three windows, morning, day or evening. On Layboard, a six days on, one day off rhythm and pay as a percentage of the operator's turnover, with a first-month bonus in some cards. On OnlineJobs.ph, $2.00 to $3.65 an hour, a 3% commission in one posting, weekly payment in USDT in the same posting, and a Telegram handle rather than the board's own form as the way to apply.

On skills, posting 1702660 asks for "natural, casual English that doesn't read as scripted", the ability to "juggle several conversations at once", and some sales experience. Several Layboard cards state that no experience is needed and that training is provided. Posting 1702660 offers "a senior operator to shadow from day one".

Retention is not stated in any posting the desk read. Cards headed "last places" and "new shift", first-month bonuses and training from day one are recruitment wording, and the desk draws no conclusion from them. In the pages read, no board and no agency publishes how long a chatter stays. The desk prints the absence.
