The fee is one sentence in the Terms of Use, under the heading Creator payouts: "Our Fee is calculated as 20% of the total Fan Payment and will be deducted from each Fan Payment." The same section adds that all fan payments and creator earnings are transacted in USD, and that currency conversion and bank charges are the creator's.

The example is arithmetic on the clause and nothing else. Three things the terms mention are not in it because the terms give no figure for them. Fan payments are "exclusive of Indirect Sales Tax, which shall be added at the current rate as applicable"; the fan pays it on top, and the rate depends on where the fan is. If a fan obtains a refund or chargeback, OnlyFans "may deduct an amount equal to the Creator Earnings portion of the refunded or chargedback amount". And withdrawal requires that the balance "meet the minimum payout amount requirement", a requirement the terms name without stating the amount.

What happens after the $800 is outside the terms. An agency's share, a chatter's commission, a tool's subscription and the creator's own tax all come out of the creator earnings line, not out of the fan's price. The split between agency and creator is not a platform figure and no public page sets it.

The 20% has not moved in the text the desk has read. The page footer still says "Last updated: August 2024", and the fee clause is the same in the December 2021 text covered by the investigation The OnlyFans AI chatbot rule, 2022 to 2026, which read every archived capture of the page.
